Meet Your Teachers

I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was a little girl but when I went off to college I majored in Business. I have a Dual Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management. After dozen years in project management, I decided life was too short not to follow your dreams. I went back to school and received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.

Many moons ago, I taught Kindergarten at a private school prior to becoming a project manager. I have spent countless hours volunteering in my children's classrooms. During my graduate program, I worked as a substitute teacher at the elementary and middle school levels. I am extremely excited to spend my first year as a certified teacher with you and your children!

Weird Random Facts about Mrs. Poland:
~ I am married to Mr. Poland
~ I have three sons: Kris is 13, Zac is 10, and Ben is 8.
~ I have a puggle named Miss Piggy.
~ My favorite colors are black, white, and red.
~ I love Starbucks and chocolate but my favorite food is salad and super icy cold water with lime.
~ Zac and Mr. Poland think we need another dog... or 12.
~ I claim that I am not crafty but when I decide I am... WATCH OUT!
~ I love Dr. Seuss... well, mainly just the Grinch. You will see, just wait for December.
~  My favorite season is the fall; I love the rain!
~ I am a native of Arizona.
~ Favorite things to do are: bubble baths and reading books, hiking, camping, and traveling.
~ I love to try and learn new things .
~ I somehow started collecting 'P's' after my wedding. It started out as a family joke and grew into collection. How many P's can you find in our classroom?
